Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Firefox supports document.all

But will throw a warning in the JavaScript console telling you to use a DOM method instead.

New Those firefox people are sharp.
Used to not work, and I've avoided document.all like the plague. Must of found time somewhere down the line to cripple the browser to conform to a non-standard.
Anyhow, there's still lot's of incompatibilities betwixt IE and Firefox, and without seeing the offending script, it's a bit hard to say what the problem is.
New Quirks mode

Non-standard methods like document.all() work only in quirks mode, I believe; same applies for things like stylesheets served as MIME-types other than text/css. If you design a page that renders in standards mode (I believe the trigger is a DOCTYPE with a fully-qualified URL to the DTD), then it won't let you get away with that stuff.

New That explains it.
I use a DOCTYPE in my production stuff, which is why it never works there.
