I think the benchmarks are per-processor. I think the turnaround time is the total time needed per work unit - from start to awarding of credit. Since a work unit is divided up between 4 computers, if you're speedy but there's an ARM watch out there working on your work unit, then your turnaround time is going to suffer. (There's a maximum response time, so it won't wait forever.)

Compare the CPU time results and I think you'll see that you've got a pretty speedy box. :-)

The upload and download rate seems to vary widely between boxes too. I don't know how that affects things.

Also, when I started using DeepThought on the G5 it stopped the Boinc client. I lost a few work units (they never completed) and the turnaround time went to ~ 3 days. It took a few days to recover. The turnaround time seems to be heavily weighted toward recent results.

It may also be that you're using a pokey Linux client. I don't know if the OS X and Linux clients are substantially different. :-(

The Einstein@Home Application is ready to display the graphics, however there is still some work left on the boinc client to make it visible. If you're curious and not afraid of a command line, try the method described in [link|http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/forum_thread.php?id=468|this thread], an experimental client or a third party tool

Here's the instructions from the thread. They're hard to read so I colorized them(Turner would be proud)
blue = user input
green = comments
black = system response

telnet localhost 31416 --I entered this
Trying 127.0.0.1... --
Connected to localhost. -- System responded with this (3 lines)
Escape character is '^]'. --
<result_show_graphics> --I entered this.
<success> --System responded. Graphics appeared
^] --control right bracket to get telnet prompt
