I did get it up. It was not a bug that the install didnt grok the nic, thats common and I dont expect it to. The design is flawed because the main componant of package management wouldnt install because of a nic driver failure. If I took all nics out of the box I could still configure a web server to listen of port 80 and using a web browser connect to [link|http://localhost:80|http://localhost:80] and get a page served. The install is a design flaw not a bug. I would expect that pigheadedness from Microsoft but not from what everyone quotes as the best distro ever. I am not complaining about the distro just the installation routines on the sarge distro, so where do I file it?
