New Decide, mount
It's trivial - make partitions, make file systems, mount on dir of choice.

To make partitions, I think I would use cfdisk. Some tools leave stray sectors that vex the tidy mind.

If you want volume management and all that, gf will know.
-drl
New Time to expose my non-sysadmin-iness
So cfdisk will do partitions, fdisk will not? I was expecting to do that while in fdisk but couldn't find the option to do it.

New The c in cfdisk
stands for "curses".

Whereas fdisk is a strictly prompt-driven thinger, cfdisk is a more friendly, screen-oriented application.

They both have the same functionality.

New Okay, will try tonight
VMWare should be downloaded by now, so I just have to remember to take home some install media for that Other OS.
