what are the chances someone is going to fuck with you as an adult?
who sorta understands after getting chased in grade 3 by about 20 kids who kicked the shit out of me and tore my new shirt. After I got home I got another beating for having a torn shirt. After another another move and meeting all my friends I decided fuckit Im gonna baseball bat somebody.I dont hate the old broad as she to this day denies she has ever touched me as a kid, she's a nut job with sever amnesia (guilt amnesia I am sure)but she's my mother and I wouldnt leave her alone with my kids when they were younger for more than an hour.

Worst part about it...

...was she gave me HOPE, not abuse.

Kept going on about how I was going to "blossom," turn into a "wonderful guy that everybody would love"... and when I turned out more like dad, I felt like a failure.

I can understand your damage - but that's not what I got. I got the wussified version.

My folks

got me if I fought back. Because I HURT people. I was a lot stronger than most when I was young, from all the farmwork.

My mom - who was a teacher, tended to side with the kids that realized I wouldn't fight back... She was a teacher, and wanted to show 'impartiality'.

It got bad when I was pushed too far.
