New What is a WAR anymore?
We can't kill masses of people.
We have to "identify the enemy" in the mass of humanity.
We can't interrogate prisoners.
Now we're apologizing to the entire Arab world?

I'm sorry, but when our enemies show up in America, they will kill masses of people, we will ALL be the enemy, they will interrogate prisoners to death.
The last time the enemy attacked the U.S. they flew 2 airplanes into major U.S. landmarks, killed thousands, and we got no apology from them.

Sorry, Joshua (Old Testament) was right. If you're going to fight a war, then there should be no survivors among the enemy (women and children included).

It's why I was against the war from the start, and now we're in f***in Vietnam all over again. If we're fighting this as a REAL WAR, then it's time to nuke Najaf, Fajullah, then go on to Tehran, Riyadh, and Mecca. It's time for millions of people to die.

I take war seriously, not these half ass police actions the U.S. has been doing for 40 years now. Old Testament baby! No survivors.

I GUARANTEE that if Saudi Arabia has the power of the U.S. that is EXACTLY how they would fight the war. No survivors. Be prepared, we've just scratched the surface of the damage this will do to the U.S. economy and the thousands, maybe millions, of Americans that will die from terrorism in the next 50 years.

New what's your point, exactly?

New My point is...
That we shouldn't be getting into fights for half ass reasons. I wasn't in favor of this to begin with.
Then, when we get into a fight, we have to use ALL MEANS to win. I don't believe in the Geneva convention. I believe in using large amounts of force to overwhelmingly destroy the enemy, achieve our objective and go home.

I believe in the war we fought in the same country in 1991. Vietnam would have not been fought the same way had I been Lyndon Johnson. We would have attacked the Northern Supply lines from the Chinese feeding North Vietnam. I would have just about destroyed every acre of North Vietnam and flooded the underground tunnels. Heck, I might have even started World War III by nuking the Chinese.

The point is we lost that war because of our 1/2 ass treatment of it, and we're losing in Iraq. Iraq will never be a democracy, not in 100 years. We need to pull back, steal as much oil as possible, then leave. Or we need to start WW III with the Arabs and nuke about 1/2 the middle east.

If I'm gonna fight, I don't mess around. That's the problem with the current Army, they want to have this BS police action and try to make Iraq a democracy which goes against just about everything that happens in Islam.

Glen Austin
New What, then, is the point of fighting?
We have it on our power, if we wish, to incinerate every population center of over 100,000 outside North America. Many, perhaps most of these, are populated by a plurality of people who do not love the You Ess of America. What's to stop us?

What would have been accomplished by nuking Vietnam? How would we be better off today? How would they be better off today?

If "ALL MEANS" are permissible in the pursuit of war, where do we get off objecting to the unpleasantness of 091101? Because no head of state authorized it?

Are you out of your mind?
Die Welt ist alles, was der Fall ist.
New You actually signed your name to that?
New Needless to say....
With these views, I'll never be running for political office.

I'm just frustrated because I didn't believe that Bush did have enough "real" evidence to forge into Iraq. He said he had WMD proof and didn't.

I know how the Arab world works, and it's just like I describe. These people are ruthless. Now, we've stirred their anger, and it's going to be very ugly.

I'll like to think we could withdraw and let the vacum of power in the region cause the groups within Iraq and the nations around Iraq to move the focus off the "mean 'ole U.S." and back into their regional disputes.

But I'm really concerned that we've galvanized Muslim hatred of the U.S. and Israel with the publication of these torture pictures, and the penalty in terrorism and resistance will be steep.

I don't like to fight wars. I like sitting on the sidelines as long as possible and selling arms to both sides to build the economy (like we did in 1938).

But, understand, Japan was a determined enemy like Saudi Arabia and Iran will be when they unite, and it will take EXTREME measures (like killing millions of Arabs) to end the conflict that will ensue.

We (the U.S.) were completely stupid and now we're gonna pay.

Glen Austin
New Wow, your ethics suck
liking to profit from the death and suffering of both sides makes you a bloodsucking ghoul, in my book.

For the record, "both sides in 1938" was to shortly include both of my grandfathers... and you guys continued to do that for another three years. Nice to know that you preferred it as the better way for America.
