It wants either tcpwrappers (header files in the standard header path), or PAM headers. I tried both options to no-avail. Had a similar problem with ncurses headers, but was able to resolve it. Might try alien and the binary distro again this weekend. BTW, I've been told no more work on this project, we WILL be implementing VPN, so any additional efforts are on my own time/dime. Glen
