Actually I inherited a MP3 player with something like 64Mb of RAM. This is basically 1 CD, right? Assuming a really high rate, how much music can I get into 256m? Unless it was on the order of 5 complete CDs at a "near perfect" rate, it wouldn't be useful to me.
Carrying around cassettes does seem lame any more.
I don't even know what to call the memory in this thing. It has an unknown form factor (about the size of a couple of stamps). It runs on one AA cell, I can't imagine that supporting 256m of RAM for long. So typical use involves uploading and downloading songs to this thing? I've tested this, it works, but the targets have to be MP3s I think.
