Seems a customer called in for an emergency code change. It was installed over the weekend. By mid-Monday morning the change had unintended consequences from the customer's point of view. A high up executive from the customer called up and asked, "Who requested this change?" He was told who, then replied, "that person DOES NOT have the authority to request emergency changes! Back the change out immediately!" So we did. However, the person who called in DOES have the authority to request changes that go through the regular process.

Now our execs and the customer's execs are doing conference calls to ensure who has the authority to do what and when so this situation can be avoided.
