Rumsfeld received the prize for the most baffling comment by a public figure for a statement he made last year on the hunt for weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Post #128,917 by lincoln 12/4/03 12:51:50 PM Reply	Found out why mgmt was PO'ed Seems a customer called in for an emergency code change. It was installed over the weekend. By mid-Monday morning the change had unintended consequences from the customer's point of view. A high up executive from the customer called up and asked, "Who requested this change?" He was told who, then replied, "that person DOES NOT have the authority to request emergency changes! Back the change out immediately!" So we did. However, the person who called in DOES have the authority to request changes that go through the regular process. While it may be redundant (for most) to "say it" - there's nothing either fallacious or incomprehensible.. in the remark, except for those with a one-phrase attention span. He says enough worth rebutting - this is one of the rare harmless utterances.
