Am I getting it yet?

New EXACTLY!!!!!!!!
NOW you see why we are *SOOOO* not worthy to second guess the LRPD... Benefactor of the GRR.

When you discover what the "GRR" is... then you will have to figure out WHY the GRR is significant to IWETHEY...

Hint: the "G" stands for "Great"

Good luck, closing with a word from the Might LRPD:

We don't suck.

Aha, more info!

Quoting Conrad>>It's from a discussion perhaps a year and a half(?) ago, about physics: How gravity (and/or other effects) near the surface of an infinitely long (but a few light-years will probably do, to fake it) and very thick and very rapidly spinning "rod" would make you travel backwards in time if you did a close fly-by. (Presumably in the correct direction, wrt the direction of spin.)<<

So it's like a time machine....

New Getting warmer...
You have correctly found CRC's description of it...

Now can you find the stuff that explains it and why all knowledge stems from it (at least @ IWETHEY)

This is fun!

Well, I discovered that the old EZ board is down, so is it archived anywhere?

New I don't know about that....
But, it may even predate the EzBoard stuff...

Let's see...

Let me see what I can scrape up for the Original Info World Electric Archives...

It'll have to be tomorrow, as I am headed to bed right now.

All I have to say is... Stick around Kid, you do yourself Proud!

Of course this would NOT be complete without an LRPD:
Any more detail than what's there and you'd have to have the magic software they use in movies to pull a license plate out of five pixels.

Well, Conrad posted that it was from a conversation on the EZboard. :)

New Re: The GRR
Hmmm does it have something to do with the fact that the LRPDs are all from the past (or immediate present) and that they rotate in a sequence? So the GRR is the Axis of Time upon which they rotate?

Okay... another guess based on what I've read so far. Maybe having to do with time always in motion, rotating between the past and the future and passing through the present? Or maybe that the LRPDs take us back in time?

Still looking...

New Some more guesses about the GRR ( was Re: Wow....)
Okay, I thought about this last night while lying in bed, and came up with some more.

--Is it because iwethey was in many places at different times, and the rod acts like the portal for the different dimensions of where and when it existed? And the LRPD's act as the reference points for the different eras?

OR

--Is it because the rod is the prorgram that rotates the LRPDS around in a continual cycle (thus going back and forth through time, because I don't think that they are in chronological order, having been stated they are random).

OR

--Does the rod stand for infinity, as in never never ending, and symbolize the tenacity of the iwethey board to survive and remain constant throughout?

Still searching!

New Oops, forgot this one guess...
I forgot this one.

-- You said (Greg) that I need to find out why all knowledge comes from the GRR and what it's significance is to iwethey.

Is it because all knowledge comes from personal experience, and each LRPD represents a personal experience or learning experience, and the constant rotation of the rod represents the continued process of learning and experiencing throughout time, so that all knowledge stems from the process? And the past influences the present, (i.e. you learn from the past, in order to improve the present), and then thus hopefully enhance your future?

New Re: I always thought that the GRR...

Hmmm trying to understand this.

Dogma: 1) a system of principles or tenets, as of a church, 2) A specific tenet authoratively put forth

Tenet: Any principle, doctrine, etc., as held by members of a group.

If the GRR is iwethey's tenet, how can it defy Dogma?
