New You can live your whole life
and never NEED to buy a diamond, but it's pretty hard to live today without NEEDING oil for gasoline, plastics, chemicals, etc.

New Yabut we still have the lowest prices
Well, almost. I hear throught the cruising net that diesel is amazingly cheap in Venzuela.

Still, our prices are obviously too low. How else to explain the madness that is the gas gulping SUV.

When prices are high enough to change vehicle buying and driving habits, then they're about right.

New That is at a loss though
The gas Haliburton is selling in Iraq for 50 cents a gallon was bought for something like $2.00 a gallon. Saddam used to charge as little as 10 cents a gallon, but from what I have heard that too was at a loss.

I'm have no idea what it actually costs to produce gas in the middle east.
