Since you have already gone and done the update. dpkg -i <those three files>

dpkg should allow you to downgrade the files (--force-downgrade and --force-auto-select are on by default). You should be able to finish. Then if you have a "front-end" package manager mark those packages on hold.

Aptitude is the = (equal) key

BTW, I am currently bitten on my "play machine" things are fuxxored. Am doing it a sec.
