Well, yeah.

I'm glad I'm not in the position of having to hope something will still go seriously wrong, while things keep going right. That's a bad, cramped, petty little place to be. Everybody who is morally sane is rejoicing at the dawning of a new hope for the world, while you're stuck in your own little pity party for your battered ego, missing out.

It's sad what happended to the Onion, though. I had a feeling they were in trouble when they lost the best Mencken parody ever. Then they started recycling old gags. And then... Oh well. Life goes on.
