I don't particularly care for Mayor Guliani (New York). I don't like his policies, especially where the homeless are concerned, and it's always seemed to me as though he viewed the Constitution as more of an annoyance than anything else. But it seems to me that of all the people who have been on television, Mayor Guliani has handled this situation far better than anyone else in the entire freaking country. As far as I know he was the FIRST public official to caution the citizenry against retaliating against ethnic minorities, he's always had the best answers to questions (many times, that answer was "we don't know") and has generally behaved wholly appropriately. I just figured that since I've never had any problems criticizing him in the past, it's only fair that I give him his props.
