Those Iraqis dancing in the streets? That should really piss me off, because I want to oppress them and steal their oil. Why are they even able to dance? I was promised 500,000 murders, yet thus far only 1,000 or so innocents have died.
So why am I so damn happy? I really can't explain.
I'd go and ask some oppression-hating anti-fascist peace activists about it, but for some reason they're all incredibly depressed.

Actually, I already pinned you on that. You wanted to have it both ways, Saddam won't use/Saddam doesn't have WMD, so that either way you would win. I forced you to pick one, which was that Saddam doesn't have WMD.
Now your crowing rings very hollow indeed.

You wanted to have it both ways, Saddam won't use/Saddam doesn't have WMD, so that either way you would win. Incorrect. I would be proven wrong if... #1. Saddam used nukes. #2. Saddam used chemicals. #3. Saddam used bio weapons. The ONLY way I'd be proved right is for Iraq did NOT use the weapons that our regime was CERTAIN that he had. That our regime had INFORMATION that he had. I was the ONLY ONE who made that prediction BEFORE the start of the war. Beside, if Saddam didn't have them, Saddam couldn't use them. You should pay more attention in English class.

I dunno...
Reading context around that whole time frame... probably not, given how I was back then.
Though my views have changed since then, I'd probably not choose to argue with him like that.

It's all over but the rest of the shooting.
The tipping point was when Dubya blew off the UNSC and delivered his 48-hour ultimatum to Saddam. From that point on, our victory and vindication were inevitable.
But as far as actually claiming the prize, there's still Tikrit. And some pesky imported terrorists here and there. And the WMD inspections - the *real* ones.
(Call me arrogant if it makes you all feel better, but at least I don't call myself "God.")
