EAST OF BAGHDAD -- Marines have discovered what appears to be a large-scale terrorist training camp for the Palestinian Liberation Front, as well as documents indicating that Iraq has sold weapons to the PLF for its fight against Israel as late as January.

The 25-year-old hidden facility had an obstacle course, parade deck, lecture halls, dining halls, barracks, administrative offices and bombing-making materials, according to the Marines from the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Regiment who uncovered the camp Sunday.

The facility could have accommodated at least 600 people at a time.

"This proves the link between Iraq and terror groups," said Capt. Aaron Robertson, the battalion's intelligence officer.
