Was reading the new [link\|http://www.os2voice.org/VNL/past_issues/VNL0403H/start.htm\|VOICE newsletter] and see mention that [link\|http://www.warpstock.org/\|Warpstock] will be held this year in San Francisco, tentatively scheduled for October 18-19. This is the first I've heard about it, though the Warpstock site has the announcement posted as of March 13th. They still haven't made a final decision on the actual facility, but that will hopefully be decided on by the end of next week. The rest of the bid was really well presented and there are three hotels under consideration. Maybe there will be a lunatic convention nearby at the same time so they can justify attendance at a "real OS/2 users" show. Actually there is a potential for Microsoft to show up since they bought Connectix (or at least bought intellectual property from Connectix depending on how one reads the announcement on Connectix' web site.) and may want to continue to market to OS/2 users.
