President Bush has "some level of frustration with the press corps" for accounts questioning the U.S. and coalition war plan in Iraq, and he finds it "silly" that such skepticism and questions were being raised just days into a conflict he says is going quite well, according to a senior administration official.

A third world army that's been under a decade+ of sanctions manages to capture US troops because we didn't deploy enough people to maintain security.

This official declined to comment on remarks from the war's Army ground commander -- Lt. Gen. William Wallace -- who told The Washington Post in Friday's paper: "The enemy we're fighting is different from the one we'd war-gamed against."

Did we invade the wrong country or what?

I don't believe, you know WTF you blather about.

WWI, Frontline always had these issues... mainly cause supply is about 1/4 as fast as attacking forces...

Korea, Frontline always had these issues... mainly cause supply got bogged down in the MUD that *IS* Korea. Making them about 1/10th as fast as attacking forces...

Vietnam, well whole nother story there... Supply had to air drop MOST everything to forward forces... not enough palnes to do it properly either I might add.

GWI, Schwarzkopf(sp?) had ~6 months of UN, Kuwaiti and Suadi backing... with Zero obstructions to build up. Plus then Saddamn wasn't the end prospect.

GWII, the digs are easy, we didn't have ~6months of unobstructed build-up... Conflicting views on what Schwarzkopf(sp?) did wrong/right in the GWI... So go ahead and dig away... the ONLY real reason you get resistence in Iraq this time... SADDAMN is the end prospect!

The only proof is prediction.

I have correctly predicted how this war would unfold, right down to how the Iraqis would dig into civilian areas and how Saddam would NOT deploy any "WMD's".

That's close. If we had invaded Iraq in 1991 with the stated intention of killing Saddam and overthrowing the Iraqi government, then we would have seen the same level of resistance that we are seeing now.

We did not do that.

We did not attempt to take Iraqi cities in 1991.

We bombed their military (correctly) and tried to bomb Saddam.

But we never tried to take Baghdad.

I think that you're annoyed that your pre-conceptions are being ripped apart and I'm doing the ripping.

But Iraq has NOT used them.
