But that is the same question that I'm asking. Are these GPS jammers expensive military equipment or are they the type that you find at the typical consumer "spy" store. Being as they're handheld, I have my doubts about whether we are talking about devices in the cost ranges of 6 or 7 figures. More likely they are in the range of 4 or 5 figures. And based on that shear conjecture, I question the true value of having spent millions to destroy six handheld jammers.
Yes they are proscribed devices under the embargo. But it's like trying to stop laptops from entering the border - same price range on this side - probably able to command a high premium on that side of the border - hence 99% pure profit for the entreprenoir willing to take the risk.
