Company makes school pics year books etc
have no idea why they arnt on macs but they are not. Owner understands photoshop and hates computers but his home page on the net is ebay where you might get a clue about his buying habits. he thinks piracy is acceptable as long as he personally doesnt down load it. Me I guarranty my stuff to work if I have original install media and license keys. He needs digital expensive camera support. A complete adobe photoshop replacement that he has purchased and out from crap hardware. He spents scads on top of the line printers scanners cameras etc then tries to run it all on hirams from taiwam all in one motherboards.:(

OKAY!!! Meat to eat....
ALOT of exspensive camera are very well supported by the 2.4 kernels.
Scanners too...
If he understands Photoshop he'll understand the GIMP.
You might be surprise how well Linux supports them. Also, I am going to try to get Adobe Photoshop to work with the most recent release of Wine!

can you freebee a knoppix cut down here?
nemmind I will email you details on mon. This will save the boy his biz, His digital camera comes in a case that the nuke codes come in, so hopefully some support. He hs a cd burner so will down an is load. Point me in a knoppix direction.

The gimp runs on winders
Could you install it and see if it meets their needs, then switch em to linux?
