Some years back my shop at work (we do publications and video) had occason to copy a US Navy video in-house for the benefit of some of our personnel who work around aircraft. The video was shot on an aircraft carrier flight deck at night in black-and-white--it looked like a second- or third-generation video by the time it reached us. It depicted some poor devil yanking the chocks from under the wheels of a jet, dashing away and then coming upright a yard or two before he ought to have: right in front of the fighter's jet intake. The encounter was fatal for both the chock guy and the jet engine--chock guy was seen emerging in flaming pieces from the other side of the engine, which then came apart. Ugh.
