New Feature comparison
I was just thinking: aside from our wish lists, what are the things EZBoard currently does that this doesn't?

  • EZCodes

  • Automatice URL-to-link conversion

  • ...

That's it? No, it can't be. They've got a staff and a several-year head start. Scott can't possibly have matched their feature set already, can he? This keeps gettin' better the more I poke around.

PS: Scott, pleae put the 'wrap="virtual"' tag on the comment textarea. I'd have to write like Brandioch to be able to use this.

New Oh yes he could.
I'm just surprised that he's bashing his html skills...considering alot of the stuff he's done that >I've< seen was web-based.

Oh well...maybe he's worried about form over function...who knows.

In all honesty, I don't thing the feature set at ezboard was all that tremendous. That, however, is by no means meant to make light of Scott's accomplishment here.

And Scott...how do you think this puppy would scale?
Um...er...well...

I have no choice!

What you're not seeing is the complete and utter lack of administration controls here. :-)

ezBoard has a significant number of board controls that I haven't yet duplicated.

Scalability: ezBoard scales by adding servers and pinning boards to servers. We could do the same here.
