Lemme try to spell it out for you: 1) During the Cold War, (remember that?), the US was terrified that the Soviets were going to invade. As recently as the 1980's this was reflected even in our entertainment ("Amerika" on ABC was a mini-series based upon the notion that the Soviets would invade, as was the motion picture "Red Dawn"). 2) In 1966, the referenced comedy came out, illustrating just how ridiculous this US fear of Soviet invasion was. 3) You in your posts, and many others, are trying to get us all worried about Iraqi invasions or military actions against us. Which, by the way, I laughed at...and then had to explain to others in the room why I thought that proposal was utterly laughable. Is there anywhere else where I have >ever< said anything at all about an Iraqi invasion or any military action against us? You're losing it bub. I'm too lazy to go find examples and since you are now denying that Iraq is a threat, I'm pleased I was wrong about your position.
