Welcome to IWETHEY!

New I'm still trying to get over...
...having the cAPS lOCK kEY placed right next to the shift key. No telling how many hundreds of thousands of characters I've had to retype because of that positioning.
New Caps lock, close all...

On Galeon, at least, you can set "save session on exit". This\r\ndoesn't save your ass all the time, but you can recover most of where\r\nyou were if you accidentally close your browser. Does Mozilla have\r\nthis? You should also be able to move stuff around the toolbar IIRC,\r\nunless this is a menu item. I do sometimes hit <ctrl>-Q rather\r\nthan -W, pisses me off....

\r\n\r\n

WRT capslock & control -- that's the first thing I remap on any\r\nsystem I access. I've got standard fixes for both console & X on\r\nGNU/Linux, and discovered the registry hack to do this on legacy MS\r\nWindows at the current gig.

\r\n\r\n

One of the things I really like about WindowMaker is\r\nthat there are just two buttons on the titlebar, at opposite ends:\r\nclose (right) and minimize (left). All else is on a context menu\r\naccessed with a right-click of the titlebar, or\r\n<ctrl>-<esc>. The standard legacy MS Windows widget\r\nplacement is flippin stoopid. Major usability issue for anyone with\r\neven slightly impaired fine motor control -- such as admins working over\r\na slow remote admin link, to say nothing of the elderly & disabled.

New Re: Caps lock, close all...
Not the toolbar I'm bitching about, it's ctrl-q/ctrl-w. :-)

With respect to widget placement... most reasonable window managers have at least one theme with decent separation of the controls. Having said that, I still prefer mine grouped together.

New Hotkey binding

...did I mention that Galeon allows you to change that too? Hover over the menu option w/ mouse and hit keys you want to use. I believe there's also a 'close window confirmation dialog' option. The Galeon option is a generic GNOME support thing, not specific to the app.
