Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Machine still boots...
But /var is indeed TOAST... All I need to get is the debconf DB and such somewhat sync'd...

I was thinking about installing everything I had installed on a Mirror system and then backing up /var then restoring that one...

I am thinking it is far better to try that... before a re-install...

GAH... I STILL can't believe I did that...

MAN!

Btw, I will be commenting further on this... We shall see how it worky...

BTW, I am getting a DEC 2100 Sable Alpha processor... 233MHz. A DEC 1000 233MHz also.. in a couple of week for fun.

That article was very good. I am still oging to try good ole hard-work at first.

New You learn from your mistakes
don't worry about it, I mess up sometimes too. I cannot even get Linux installed without a media error or a crash in the video setup. I am suspecting bad hardware at this point. I might have to buy a used $212USD Dell system to run Linux on and see if that works better.
