Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Pickin' my jaw up off the ground...
I owe my PHB an apology.

Right now, we're an all-Microsoft 24/7 shop. Siebel Medical, which is our central data repository, requires IE 6+latest M$ JVM. All XP, all Office, all SQL Server, all the time.

He'd seen me playing around with Debian on my laptop, and we're in a meeting, and mentions casually to me that Siebel is planning on releasing a Sun Java version of their client in 2004, that the BSA was pissing him off with their constant threatening letters, and hey, by the way, the Knoppix CD I showed him was pretty nifty, and what better way to give Microsoft the finger, eh?

We may be Microsoft-free in 2004 or 2005.

Wow.

New Sometimes it's...
...the little things that make the BIGGEST impact.

Good to hear... Maybe you might try cygwin/Xfree4.2 as well...

Among other things...

Excellent...

New You can make that apology
At the celebretory dinner he throws when the last box is wiped and reinstalled.

Implicitly condoning stupidity since 2001.
New You good-fortuned offspring of an unwed mother
It looks like I'm heading in the opposite direction.
