Ankara is demanding that Turkish forces should enter the north of the country to secure Turkey's interests if the US and Britain go ahead with an attack on Iraq. Kurdish spokesmen have said that their guerrillas who control the north will oppose any Turkish intervention. Unintended consequences abound, and for all Bush knows, the Kurds are something you find in cottage cheese. It's only temporary. Really. It's only temporary. Like I've said before, not everyone has the limited memory that seems so common in the US.

Gassing them as collateral damage in an artillery duel is so henious and evil, flattening them with a 500lb from a B52 is humane. Even sending the Turks in to shoot them is humane. The latter way there are no evil pictures of dead babies to worry about & for Marlowe to have to explain. Cheers Doug Marker
