Nor have I confused your take on the planned execution to imply that you have thrown your lot in with the sleaze sheltered under this Texas bird's two right wings.
But I claim: that in accepting Bush's plan (and apart from that choice: also lending credence to the rest of his agenda here and abroad) - you still miss the likelihood that the cure may dwarf the disease, in the web of completely uncontrollable consequences.
And there is daily evidence of the poor thought about 'next steps' which has preceeded this war prep.
You appear to accept this litany of probabilities - which may include a general melee including attacks on Israel (thus next: by Israel), the involvement of everyone from Uzbeks to all the Arab battling clans of old, on down to a really kindled Pakistan/India contretemps. All this for the visceral satisfaction of killing an aging boor, who is currently circumscribed within his wretched borders.
And if 'freeing the Iraqi people' were high on your list (?) what about the Rwanda genocide, E. Timor, various African equivalents by equally Bad Men? Etc. People thought that assassinating Castro would be a Good Thing\ufffd too.. whether or not the JFK killing was related - we'll never learn.
Maybe that's also our motto re world affairs: We'll Never Learn.
