Fact 1) The major countries of the UN are opposing immediate invasion of Iraq - they are asking that the weapons inspectors be given more time to do what they were sent to do. They are not opposed to a war should one prove justified. Fact 2) Each of these governments is doing nothing more than accurately and responsibly representing the vast majority of their peoples desires & opinions on a pre-emptive invasion underatken before more proof is uncovered. People outside the US are very hostile to the apparent aggressive stance taken by Bush & Rumz. Point 3) The distractions you keep plastering us with (who met who in what corridor of the UN) cannot paper over the above fundamental facts. Doug Marker

Response to fact 2 the majority of the UN would vote tommorow to eliminate Israel, station troops in America and disarm the population if they thought they could get away with it. I know that and you know that for a fact. I am not saying or implying that the major powers would want to do that. I am saying a majority would in a shot. This makes the body irrelavent. point 3 Point 3) The distractions you keep plastering us with (who met who in what corridor of the UN) cannot paper over the above fundamental facts. If you do not wish to see the motives and actions behind the public posturings feel free to enjoy your dogma. For a student of history you know damn well its the side conferences and the corredors which make history, not the pronouncements at the news conferences. The UN and "New World Order" and stationing UN forces in the US and taking away all of our guns and so on and so forth........ Boxley seems to have a problem with those OTHER countries having Democratically elected (even "representational") governments. Which might not be so bad if their citizens would consent to swallow the LIES our government keeps spewing.

Isn't that one example I keep bringing up of how the US props up a puppet government? But you STILL don't believe that is so? BTW: Quoting ANYONE in our current regime will NOT be accepted. This regime is also the one that CONTINUALLY lied about what was in other reports to the UN and CONTINUALLY claims to have "information" that it refuses to share with the inspectors. you know damn well its true which is why you completely sidestepped the question to mumble Iraq, UN.
