How many lawyers do you know who respect privacy? Actualy, I do know some. But even they are careful about what goes on paper.

My guess is that one of the lawyers left the email on the screen and she walked by in the course of doing her job while finishing out her two week's notice. For some people, particularly in a class system, the help is more or less invisible. And while I'm no big of snifing for something to sue over, if I notice a major personal insult against me and see an opportunity to strike back at the same time, well, in my position I'd probably chuckle and let it pass so as not to burn a bridge, but she didn't have anything to lose.
