Better solution
Have a board-level and/or personal "hall of fame" list. Click the link, it gets added to your user page in a list of your favorite posts. The board-level hall of fame could just be the top 20 (or whatever) ranked posts, based on how many people decided to keep a link around. Might also be a nice resource for board newbies to see what the collective thinks is worthwhile.
