In Open Forums post 81204 is a link that I want to read at leasure and then reply later. If I mark that forum read then I will have to search or use show all posts. After a week or so that post will be lost in the clutter. Click the link, it gets added to your user page in a list of your favorite posts. The board-level hall of fame could just be the top 20 (or whatever) ranked posts, based on how many people decided to keep a link around.
