A difference of a couple magnitudes there (just in case you didn't know it). Someone who has taken a shot at you before and threatens to do it again you dont ignore. Oh, I'm sure he'd like to lob some more SCUD's at Israel. I'm just as sure that this will NOT have anywhere NEAR the effect of dropping one nuke on Israel.

Well, if you consider only the irradiated dust particles, then you'd be correct. But what about the explosion? The initial radiation burst that turns people into shadows? depends on the payload doesnt it? But that wasn't your original statement. The SCUD is the "delivery vehicle". Yes, he has SCUD's. No, he does not have nukes (or, there has been no evidence found that he has nukes despite the best efforts of the USofA).

You're slipping from a discussion of Iraq's capability -to- A theoretical discussion on conventional vs nuclear weapons. Don't do that. Do you think that Saddam will put an equivalent tonnage of conventional explosives on Israel as we put on Dresden? And, as far as I know, the death count was HIGHER for Hiroshima than for Dresden (calculate in radiation induced cancer and such).

Was Israel destroyed? 50% destroyed? 25% destroyed? 10% destroyed? 5% destroyed? 1% destroyed? Less? And NOW his military is EVEN WEAKER. So his capability for destruction is GREATER?!? I don't give a fuck WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO. If we go in it is his last chance to make good his boast before he dies. But if he doesn't have the CAPABILITY, then he will NOT be able to do it. And he does NOT have the capability. Sadaam has threated the destruction of Israel many times. And Israel is still there. Because TALK IS CHEAP! He doesn't have the CAPABILITY to fulfill his statements. If it is anti sadaam, even if sadaam himself says it, it must be lie. If it is contrary to the facts, no matter who says it, it is still contrary to the facts. If the US invades..... Saddam will NOT launch a nuke at Israel..... Not because he has SAID he would not..... Not because he would not LIKE to..... But because he does NOT HAVE A NUKE TO LAUNCH. His attacks, if any, on Israel will be ineffective and of short duration.
