Only the straightjacket-left chose to sit that one out. (It cannot be stated often enough that leftists are not liberals. This is more true now than at any time since 1968, but most Americans still don\ufffdt make the distinction.) Again, you seem to have used "Left" and "Liberal" and "Pacifist" interchangably in the past. But this article says they aren't. With only one exception, every anti-war liberal I have talked to admits this is true. This statement is true if only one "anti-war liberal" was interviewed. I convinced him by sending him reams of information about the brutal nature of Saddam Hussein\ufffds dictatorship. Compare that to North Korea. Why is one "just" and being pursued by Bush, but the other is "diplomatic"? The difference between YOUR "morality" and the "morality" of Bush. While you may consider it "moral" to do so, Bush seems to have a different agenda as he is NOT following that same "morality" with regards to OTHER nations with the EXACT same situation regarding oppression, violence and death. That is the key point. We are not in this because it is "moral" to do so. We are in this to control the oil. Look at Afghanistan today. Anti-US factions are GAINING membership.

And since you aren't afflicted with the Either/Or firmware of the marlowe presence, at least not always: A conspiracy theorist would easily see the synergy of satisfying the knee-jerk vengeance Action requirement.. while coming up with Constitutional repeal legislation in a matter of days! after 9/11 ... all while firming up plans for the New Domino Theory of the World: arrayed along (the same sort of marlowesque Axes). Hey..! let's call it an Axis of ~~Sin~~ Evil !! The not- conspiracy theorist would simply settle for the obvious: Attack Something Soon! or We Be Wimps. We'll work out the details (and the tentacles of this group) - which will conveniently lead to: Where Do You Want to Invade Today? pentacles? Now... was that so hard? (I just don't know how you ever manage to vote, without someone to point out the obvious stuff - and then ya don't get it.. airplane anoxia?)

Bush Senior has long called for a new world order with the orders coming out of Washington and 9/11 was a caalyst to move this along nicely. Al Qaeda operates an anti-US radio station in Afghanistan - (yes, today). 2. US Troops have pulled back from FIVE positions. 3. One of the positions the US troops have pulled back from was abandoned owing to nightly rocket attacks, some military vehicles were damaged. After the US left, Al Qaeda operatives stormed the place and burned it to the ground. 4. War lords are commiting murder on a large scale. 5. Chaos reigns outside of Kabul. That's all I remember right now, but I wonder why Colon didn't mention any of this stuff in his speech? Aren't we looking for another "success" in Iraq like we had in Afghanistan?
