Welcome to IWETHEY!

New On the other side, BAY-BEEE!
Guess where I'm posting this from?

Mozilla 1.0.0, DEBIAN, BAY-BEEE!

I haven't tried getting 2.4 up, but I changed my video driver to VESA from ATI, and we got workee! W000000t!

I'm just a wee bit happy. Now if I could just get that %#@%@#$ touchpad to stop jumping all over the place...

New Re: TouchPad
If you use an attached mouse, I suggest you scotch tape an index card or a business card over the touchpad.

It's low-tech, but it works.
New Got it fixed.
Dropped Mike's XF86Config file in my directory, changed the graphics driver to vesa, and it works beautifully.

The problem wasn't me accidentally bumping around the touchpad - the problem was that it kept resetting to the lower left-hand corner.

New Touchpad: mouse configured properly?

Most integrated touchpads are simply psaux devices. In your XFree86\r\nconfiguration file, PS/2. Jumpy touchpad or mouse is likely a\r\nmisconfigured device.
