I thought Saddam was supposed to be the idiot.
Cool.
A person who knows WHERE the "smoking guns" are DEFECTS!!!
He defects to Israel.
Now, if it were ME, I'd debrief him and get that info over to Bush ASAP.
Then Bush would relay it to the inspectors.
The inspectors would go to those locations and find the "smoking guns".
And it's all wrapped up. The world sees the weapons and we have support for going in.

So, the Israelis debrief him.
Then the information is sent to a NEWSPAPER in AUSTRALIA?!?
Which then PUBLISHES the information.
Then, in case Saddam might MISS the print edition, it gets published ON THE WEB?!?
That way, when the stuff isn't where it was claimed to have been.....
It's because Saddam moved it.

Would you believe it more if he defected to Kuwait (where some of our forces are) or to Saudi Arabia (where some of our forces are) or to Turkey?
Okay, Iran and Syria would probably not be good choices for him. :)

As Brandi pointed out, there are Americans are in most of...
the countries adjoining Iraq. Also, there wouldn't be a language or cultural problem with the locals in these countries. Besides, post Saddam, the Iraqis will have no better opinion of the Israelis.
