They have another word for it: "carpet bombing"

Mid '43, though it had been attacked since '42. It was over 3 or 4 days of round the clock bombing: HE bombs and then incendiaries, alternating - keeping people in the shelters.

The first firestorm was created, huge winds via the unprecedented chimney effect. Many cremated within the shelters - after dying from CO poisoning, as all the oxygen in the air was used by the fire. Practic for the entirely unstrategic Dresden raid of Kurt Vonnegut infamy.

No way to compare - except that incendiaries are Not about surgical strikes. A firestorm? would imply genocidal levels of violence: with 2002 knowledge, IMO.

Maybe we won't have to find out - if many more revelations of Admin fact-fudging occur.. a firestorm of new info?
