Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Even scarier yet when you take into account . . .
. . Netcraft's report that [link|http://serverwatch.internet.com/netcraft/200108netcraft.html|Apache is losing share] and IIS is gaining share.

New How about the phony IDs?
That is, headers which lie. Anything like 'evidence' ever appear - regarding percentages, and whether some M$ droid made a career of spreading these around (?)

I just presume the last - it would be SO M$-like an activity... As to the 1.5% loss from .com seppuku; does that sound even a bit low?

Gawd this is all *so Murican* -- from Babbitt onwards, only the mediocre survive; now we've spread this plague worldwide, as millions "slept at the switch". Next all hinges on the new hyphenated-judge, described as nowhere near as techno- ept as J. Jackson (became). Our only hope may be - that she is also a quick study and: hyper-sensitive to the odor of decaying slime.

Let us prey.
New She also has a reputation . . .
. . as a strict sentencer.

New Actually, I suspect I know the reason for that.
IIS is reportedly the web server of choice for https - i.e. HTTP over SSL. Plus the fact that Win2k is finally a pretty stable OS for web serving, modulo all the IIS hacking problems.
