New Linux version of Bejeweled?
I'd beamed Bejeweled to my dad's Palm, and now both him and mom are hooked. They were fighting over the palm until I mentioned that it was available for the PC.

My mom found out her dad's been playing solitaire on the computer I set them up with, and she wants to get it for him. However, I've set up my grandparentss with Linux and the only Bejeweled versions I see are for Windows.

New One solution.
First off, the web version of Bejeweled is actually a Java app - so it will run in Linux via Mozilla or your other friendly Java-enabled app. I believe it's only availible via Microsoft's Gaming Zone, but there's a "Bejeweled-alike" on Yahoo Games as well. Diamond Mine? Yeah, that's it. Try [link|http://games.yahoo.com/games/downloads/dm.html|here.]
Any deity worthy of a graven image can cobble up a working universe complete with fake fossils in under a week - hey, if you're not omnipotent, there's no real point in being a god. But to start with a big ball of elementary particles and end up with the duckbill platypus without constant twiddling requires a degree of subtlety and the ability to Think Things Through: exactly the qualities I'm looking for when I'm shopping for a Supreme Being.
