What with IBM, Hollywood and the scientific community (to name a few examples) backing Linux whole-heartedly. Add in 30% server market share for Linux and 60% for Apache and it becomes obvious that OSS is here to stay. But the tech pubs still need to hedge their bets in case they are wrong. At least InfoWorld appears to be using their own survey information in order to determine the subject matter of some of their recent articles, as Andrew has pointed out.
