It's not that I'm lazy. It's that I haven't much motivation
Hell, I don't even know offhand the dimensions of this pic. It hasn't been *my* problem.

Hee hee hee.
You're not motivated to follow the standards?
And when those standards are pointed out to you, you recommend that the person pointing them out switch platforms?
And you say you aren't lazy?

Er... what standards would those be?
width and height are #IMPLIED attributes, not #REQUIRED.

Re: dimensions of this pic
In Mozilla, right click on the target picture, then click on Properties. Look at what is displayed.

But only if IE displays the image to begin with. :)

Hmmm The Source was no help -
How's Come:
Source for your post doesn't show something like,
[img src=""[Location of Scott's pic].gif" border="0" width="900" height="900" alt="New"]
(instead of the 60 x 60 normal)
Huh? WHY don't I see the ""[img src ..."" line anywhere in the SOURCE ? (It is there for the poster pix) A Zope thing?

It's there
This isn't Scott's issue - I mean, why should we expect him to write a little "get pic dims" code and munge an img tag with the dims? I mean, why should we expect this? Why? Because he's a great programmer and extremely handsome and witty? Because he is God? Even God needs a few minutes off. Sure, he could lift twitch his pinky and boom! done. But we have no right to expect this. None. Nada. Zippo. It's not right to expect this tiny tiny easily implemented code addition. He's God. He's got better things to do. Really. OK.

Yup it is there.
With the unpretty formatting of the source in the window, it can be hard to find sometimes.
What you're looking for is:
(img src="[link|http://www.msen.com/~baal/scott.jpg|http://www.msen.com/~baal/scott.jpg]" border="0" alt="Image" height="900" width="900")(br)(font size=10)Bork!(/font)
(replace parens with angle brackets).
HTH.
Cheers, Scott.

Escape codes.
If you need to post html, there are two methods:
1) check off 'Process HTML' at the bottom, or
2) backslash escape enough of the string to fool the parser: \\<img src="blah blah blah

Re: Yup it is there. Indeed.
Odd - first time, ^F didn't find nada.
This time, just using 'baal' - found all occurrences.
Full moon..
