What's this "Iraqi people" everybody's talking about?

Indeed you may think of them as the intellectual heirs of Leon Trotsky. He wanted to make the world a better place, and free the oppressed with what he called a permanent revolution. The neo-cons, in particular, want to do this, too, but our foreign policy would be in better hands if they didn't.

I say:

Eventually we're gonna have to shove democracy down the crazy bastards' throats. For our sake, not theirs. But for now we can take it slow.

And it really doesn't make any sense to keep Iraq intact. It never made any sense for Iraq to be intact in the first place.

A "nation" can have citizens of different "ethnoreligious" groups. I know of another group that has problems differentiating "ethnoreligious" and "nation". They wear a lot of white and have pointy hoods.
