That was the NextCube, so late 1980's

Jobs wants to move away from the past and create something different. Besides there was that G4 Cube a while back, which didn't do so good. Maybe it should have been black instead of translucent? From what I heard, it had flaws in the forms of cosmetic cracks on the cases after a while.
