New Yeah, I know.
I'm hoping for an OSS deriviative, w/any proprietary licensed stuff they don't own replaced - perhaps with outside help. That would be unstoppable, IMO - once loosed on the world, I feel it would take over the desktop (at least as far as the desktop metaphor remains. How long before true [link|http://www.cs.unm.edu/~dlchao/flake/doom/|1st person 3d GUIs], since I'm dreaming? *grin*).

Somehow I don't expect it though. This [link|http://www.ibm.com|leopard] has yet to scrub off all it's spots, I'm afraid.
