Stephen Paul Rauen, 15, was ejected from the top of a friend's car Monday after he jumped onto the hood, police spokesman Jeff Arbogast said.
When the driver hit the brakes, Rauen hit the pavement, then was run over and dragged a short distance.

Just last week, a 13-year-old Indiana boy died and five other teens were injured after the van they were traveling in hurtled off a railroad track at more than 70 mph, crashed into a parked car and slid 400 feet.
Authorities, who found a video camera and video cassette near the van with scenes from the show, believe the accident may have been an attempt to a re-create one of the show's stunts. Darrell Spice, Jr.

...we need a special category of the Darwin Awards that is specifically for attempted recreations of Really Dumbass Shit Someone Saw on TV or In a Movie.
Prolly have LOTS of candidates....

It was when I was 18... Was looking for a decent picture of me when I had a full head of hair... Had to go back pretty far. Yeah, and my knee's been aching me. Oy! Sometimes I have trouble with my gums too. And, when it's going to rain, etc.
I just saw that CRC (Conehead, er Conrad) put up a pitcher uv his mug, so I thought I'd better join the club. You know I'm a compulsive joiner, gotsta fit in with the herd yano.
I'm patiently waiting on your pitcher, you do want to be a part of the in posters, don'tcha?

The do have a disclaimer
on the movie. A sad fact, I wonder how many kids put on a towel or bed sheet and tried jumping off of a building because they saw Superman do it in a movie? They should know the difference between a movie and real life. They always tell them not to do that kind of stuff at home. They also have the professional Wrestling tell the kids not to do it, but they do it anyway.
I'm going to teach my son not to do the things he sees in the movies and tv shows, too dangerous.
