Tampa Defence handing Vicks his head 21-3 TB at 1/2 time
one touchdown from a defence interception but the Tampa offence appears to be working for a change. Defence has run down vick on the only time he tried to breakout and rush, on subsequent plays he started throwing the ball away. Second half will bring a change for the Falcon defence or they will lose this. Tampa Defence might get tired as well. thanx, bill

Vick Will Never Be A Good Passing QB
IMO he is going to waste at QB, should have a role more like Faulk.

Um...I might have to disagree...
...only because he is very accurate and has a real gun. His current issue is that he really is >all< that Atlanta has for offensive talent.
Put him behind a line that can block..give him a reasonable running back and you may be surprised at how well he does.
Only say this after watching him rip apart teams in college that took away the VT running attack...in essence to say "Let him beat us with his arm"...which he did with some regularity.

Re: Um...I might have to disagree...
I saw him in college and formed the above opinion before he went pro. He telegraphs his passes and has happy feet (wouldn't you if you ran a 4.2 40? :) - these are things that are nearly impossible to unlearn.
Yes, he has a gun - so he could be used as a kind of second QB in a wide open offense using option plays and play actions.

Exactly...
...what I would expect of a young pro who is asked to do too much...and exactly the same critiques leveled at Donovan McNabb (happy feet, staring down reads, etc...).
This year...given a decent set of options...most of those critics were silenced by D-Mac...to the point where people now consider that happy footed qb that can't make it past the second checkdown as one of the top 3 qbs in the league.
Being the fastest player on the field makes Vick even more dangerous. But..against a completely superior opponent in every facet of the game (TB should have and did crush Atlanta)...you can't ask one guy to overcome the weaknesses of the other 21...even though he >has< done this quite a few times already this season.

Hey there, TB could still lose home field advantage to GB
and have play in their most-feared setting--COLD!
Doubtful, but it COULD happen. ;-)

Philly has home field for now
TB, GB and Philly are all [link|http://www.nfl.com/standings|10-3]. Philly is undefeated in NFC so they own the tiebreakers.
TB has Detroit, Pitt and Chicago(at Chicago (brrr))...with loss to Houston Pitt can't afford another so that will be a tough one for TB.
GB has San Fran (HUGE GAME), Buffalo and NYJ
Philly has Wash, Dallas and NYG...and beat all of the above easily already once this season (granted with D Mac and not Touchy Feeley or Detmer)
So Philly has the easier schedule and the lead.
Interesting..to have the last game of the season (not SB) as the last football game to be played in Vet Stadium (new stadium next year)...with Philly fans...and an evening game leaving plenty of time for the fans to get juiced...ugly ugly.

My picks would be...
...an all PA bowl...since thats a no lose prop for me. Lifelong Steelers fan and "homer" for the iggles...so either my team gets "one for the thumb" or I get to go to a Super Bowl parade...either way I'm ok (except..of course...everyone I'll be watching the game with here knows I'm a Steelers fan...so a Steeler loss to Philly in the big dance would be a long day for me)
