Especially the consumer scam part: free printer (mine came from Long's Drugs special ~ $60!) but Will we soak you for the ^#%^# refills - forever.

But for occasional.. use, light printing (but not so occasional the sucker dries out!) wouldn't you concede the throwaways like the Canon 1000 (or whatever it is this week) are the best-fit?

No contest on the $300+ jets, less'n it's 1440\ufffd you're wanting - then, what other choice is there?

(I use the BC-02 black ctdge - fortunately a 'detected' color change by the driver; put color ctdge in included rubber-sealed 'safe' - not too awful at Warehouse prices)
