New Anyone notice the new feature yet...?
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Erm, is "branched reply from.." new?
John. Busy lad.
New I thought you were up to something...
when the Title Bar for the Main page changed to "zIWETHEY Board: IWETHEY (NEW)", but I can't say that I've figured out what's changed yet though...

Hint?

Cheers,
Scott.
New Very warm...
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Well, it's new to me anyway!
[link|http://www.iwethey.org/|http://www.iwethey.org/].

Very nice.

Cheers,
Scott.
New Icy cold. ;-)

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Hmmm....
I'm baffled. Let's look at the [link|http://z.iwethey.org/forums/SourceCode/CHANGES|changelog].

What's this! It says Version 0.4.0!?!

Is that it?!?! Are we finally running 0.4.0?!?!

(I know, I know, I'm cold again...)

Cheers,
Scott.

New Cold.
Go back to your original post... ;-)
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New My tinfoil hat is preventing me from figureing it out...
New BTW...
Mr. admin doesn't seem to be showing up in the Active Users list at the moment. Are you the -UQC- or are you testing some other bits or are you just being even more devious at the moment?

:-)

Cheers,
Scott.
New (NEW) goes away when there are no new posts. Is that it?
New We have a winnah!
I didn't say it was a HUGE new feature, now, did I...?
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New IF... M$ ever began to think like Scott - -
OR.. if they offered him enough billions to Work {shudder} in the guts of The Beast:

We'd have to kill him [with some regret. Sniff.] to save the world.

Just Imagine ... if their Kewl NEW Feeeturz actually began to be

Intelligent AND USEFUL !!
DON'T DO IT Scott!
Don't Eat That Apple.. if Ballystopheles Calls!!
(Natch we'd give you the choice of) the cup of Hemlock or... ...

The Comfy Chair
New If they paid me billions...
I'd be stupid not to.

Doesn't mean I'd do it for long. But, I'd like to retire at 35 like everyone else... ;-)

And the money would get used to subvert them through other projects, anyway. :-D
Regards,

-scott anderson

"Welcome to Rivendell, Mr. Anderson..."
New Now, why this is useful:
Tabbed browsing. I have a number of forum-like sites in several tabs. I right-click, "refresh all tabs". Now to check zIWT I don't actually have to look at the site, since the title with (NEW) is displayed on the tab itself. ;-)

It's all about the LRPD, ma man.

-scott anderson

New Some of the best features...
... are because the programmer wanted it for their own use. :-)

There are real advantages to eating one's own dogfood, so to speak.

Wade.

"Ah. One of the difficult questions."

New Yeap.
Other forum sites bug the shit out of me now.

New Nod
I was just thinking that today. I visit 3 other forums daily, two of which I'm a moderator at. All of them use different software: Ikonboard, Invision Board, and vBulletin. They all suck. Sure, they have nice eye candy features, but none, NONE handle the basic functions of marking posts and topics read as well as this one does. The all bug the crap out of me. If it hasn't been said enough, Thank You. This place is a joy to use and to be a part of.

Opera was the television of the nineteenth century:loud, vulgar and garish with plots that could only be called infantile. "Pendergast"
New Well, I noticed one change last night, but I'm not sure...
...when that was implemented, or whether it is what you mean: The "Save Without Preview" button is gone from the Preview screen you get immediately after a Quote. (As I maintained it should be, a week or so ago.)

Is that it? (If so, it's a new record for you: Never before has a feature of this magnitude taken so *long* to implement! ;^)
