Welcome to IWETHEY!

New Lycoris (ah lah Peanut Butter Sandwiches)
Poof....

Currently Build 62 is a few days old... Currently Runs Beautiful on this XP1900+ 256MB RAM GeForce2GTS Pro (GF2 is OverClocked Thank you!!!).

Video Card is the ONLY card in a slot... Gigabyte GA-7VAXP, 3 - IEEE 1394 FireWire (400M version), 6 USB Ports (2 v2.0, 4 v1.1), KT400 Chipset, RT8139b (or c ?) 10/100 NIC, all the fixings, 6Ch Audio (VIA blah blah). Schweet board... just don't put 400MHz memory in it yet. 333MHz works great.

All is well and good... I am playing around with everything... I can't break the default stuff yet. Though I haven't install Devtools yet... ;)

Waiting for that to finish with WGET from Paladin (blazing 7KB/Sec - 14KB/Sec)...

Plodding, stuff is feeling pretty good. and This is for NON-Technical people... Feels pretty good to a "Technical Type".

Lizard Install seems a bit dated, WindowxXP Graphical Install isn't ANY better... At least you get to Play cards while it is rolling along doing the install. No real options, just DOES it.

BTW, [link|/forums/render/user?username=admin|Scott] How'd that WinXP install go? As Planned or weren't good enough^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hto chicken were ya? I can help you out iffn you want? Or maybe you'd need [link|/forums/render/user?username=tablizer|the OO expert] for WindowsOhOh (W2K) *snicker*

Another thing... Backspace doesn't seem to quite work they way I'd thought it should... I had to use CTRL-BKSP... *MUST* be this new Lycoris Build! Yeah... That's it... Darn seems to have that sticking period too...

New Re: Lycoris (ah lah Peanut Butter Sandwiches)
I've installed some of the (fairly) recent builds. It's pretty in a sort of vapid way, and like Xandros Desktop OS has done a great deal of work on making access to SMB resources seamless. It's the sort of thing that will be liked by those who like that sort of thing.

No later than the following day, you suddenly remember that it's just another glossy RPM-based system with nothing particularly interesting about it. But some will like it, I have no doubt.

If you lived here, you'd be $HOME already.
New Yeah... I know...
I knew it before I installed it...

But, I gotta try these things you know. How ELSE do you think I am gonna catch upto you Rick?

New Heh. I like almost anything that's seamless.
Too much real work to do to tweak other people's protocols. :)

Many fears are born of stupidity and ignorance -
Which you should be feeding with rumour and generalisation.
